Horoz Logistics accelerated its goal of becoming a global brand with its freight forwarder services, where it initiated a radical transformation by focusing on digitalization, sustainability and customer satisfaction. Horoz Logistics International Road Transportation Group President Mücella Salın, Air Transportation Group President Banu Mankut and Sea Transportation Group President Zeki Doğru talked about the restructuring process and future goals.

After the sale of Horoz Bollore Logistics, what kind of restructuring did you go to in the services you offer as freight forwarder?
Following the sale of Horoz Bollore Logistics, Horoz Logistics entered a radical transformation process in its freight forwarder services. The after-sales process brought strategic steps that allowed the company to develop more customer-oriented, flexible and innovative solutions. As Horoz Logistics, we especially strengthened its technological infrastructure in this process. While making our operations more transparent and efficient with the latest digital solutions and technologies in the industry, we continued to improve service quality with experienced teams.
In addition, sustainability has become one of the basic principles of Horoz Logistics. We developed innovative projects to minimize environmental impacts and took steps to reduce the carbon footprint. We increased employee competencies through training and development programs, thus collaborating with the best talents in the industry.
In addition, we have developed alternative routes and transportation models in air and sea transportation in order to respond quickly to changes in global and regional dynamics. Working with teams specialized on a regional basis, we produced solutions to meet short and long-term customer needs. In road transportation, we prioritized operational excellence, route optimization and digital solutions. Horoz Logistics, one of the most established companies in the sector in international road transportation, has gained the opportunity to provide one-stop and integrated logistics services to its customers with the investments it has made in all destinations that can be reached by road in the new period. Thus, we integrated the ongoing effective storage and domestic distribution network within Türkiye with international storage, e-commerce, customs clearance, airline and maritime transportation modes on the international platform.

What will be your new solutions to meet your customers’ needs?
Following the end of the Bollore partnership, we took important steps to offer our customers more flexible and customer-focused solutions. We expanded our network by establishing partnerships with strong local and global partners in different regions. In this way, we have the opportunity to offer our customers more competitive prices and various service options.
By taking steps to increase service quality by optimizing internal operation processes, we have achieved a structure that can respond to customer demands more quickly. Thanks to our teams specialized in countries and regions, we can offer regional transportation solutions and freight alternatives to our customers. This enables the company to provide a more personalized service by increasing its capacity to produce customer-specific solutions.
As Horoz Logistics, we have also expanded our product range by making major investments in e-commerce. As the e-commerce industry grows rapidly, we aim to provide our customers with greater flexibility and speed in cross-border trade services. This is especially possible through services supported by combined transport modes. Horoz Logistics offers its customers maximum efficiency and speed in logistics processes by providing a strong integration between air, sea and road transportation.

SPAIN IS NEXT FOR WAREHOUSE INVESTMENTS
Recently, you have been attracting attention with your warehouse investments both in the country and abroad. What kind of steps have you taken in this field?
As Horoz Logistics, we attach great importance to our warehouse investments both domestically and abroad. We are establishing warehouses and distribution centers in strategically important regions to expand the global logistics network and offer more integrated and faster solutions to our customers. These investments enable our customers to manage their logistics processes more efficiently while minimizing disruptions in the supply chain.
In storage investments abroad, we aim to facilitate access to different markets by creating regional logistics centers. Our warehouses located in various parts of the world contribute to the increase in global trade volumes by offering cross-border e-commerce solutions in this period when e-commerce is rapidly growing. We currently have warehouses in 4 states in America: New Jersey, California, Florida and Pennsylvania. In Europe, we continue to provide service with our warehouses in Germany, England and France. In addition to the existing warehouses, the Spanish warehouse, for which we have started preparations, will be put into operation soon. We also plan to establish smart warehouses, activate automation systems and offer artificial intelligence-supported stock management solutions. Thus, we will enable in-warehouse operations to be carried out faster and error-free.
Thanks to our digitalization strategy, we provide our customers with full visibility in warehouse management and make their logistics processes more transparent and traceable. Horoz Logistics’ agenda includes taking steps to increase the sustainability and efficiency of all these investments. We aim to reduce costs and increase service quality by investing in digitalization and automation processes in our warehouses.

As Horoz Logistics, we aim to increase operational efficiency with digitalization and artificial intelligence applications. In this context, we are taking various steps to improve customer experience and offer more environmentally friendly logistics solutions. We contribute to environmentally friendly logistics services by increasing electric vehicle purchases. In addition, we constantly improve service quality in order to increase customer satisfaction and develop strategies to reach new markets and customer segments in addition to our existing markets.
