As Lima Logistics, what kind of structure do you have in air cargo transportation? For which types of cargo do you offer special solutions?
We operate with an integrated structure that offers reliable, fast and effective air cargo solutions for international shipments. We are particularly focused on sectors with high time sensitivity. We offer integrated logistics solutions for special cargo types such as urgent parts transportation, hazardous materials (DGR), pharmaceutical and health products and perishable food products (perishables) for the automotive industry. We treat each shipment as a special project and prepare customer-specific transportation plans.
In order to prevent production disruptions in the automotive sector, we provide service with 24/7 operation monitoring, live information flow and fast action capability. This center works like a control tower, ensuring the planning, monitoring and coordination of all our European operations. We optimize our global reach with this network that we have structured through strategic airports such as Istanbul Airport, Amsterdam Schiphol, Frankfurt and Liège.
You also offer special services such as charter aircraft rental. How do you organize this process?
With our charter aircraft rental service, we can offer flexible solutions for the special and urgent needs of our customers. The process starts by analyzing the urgency of the customer demand, cargo type and destination; the most suitable aircraft type and route are determined. The entire process from flight permits to ground services is managed end-to-end by our expert teams. Operations are monitored one-on-one at both departure and arrival points.

In addition, within the scope of sustainable transportation, we are investing in green logistics projects and energy efficiency-focused applications that will reduce our carbon footprint with our “Lima Green” brand. We are working on projects focused especially on China and Mexico; we aim to develop alternative transportation lines with intermodal services.
