WE FOCUS ON CONTINENTAL EUROPE
What are the markets you have focused on in recent years? What countries or regions will your new stops be?
We operate actively on a global scale in order to offer alternative solutions that meet the demands of our customers. By cooperating with our partner, the UK-based tank container operator, we aim to respond to the demands at the most competitive prices. In addition, while providing quality service to our existing customers with our own fleet of 500 vehicles, we continue our efforts to discover new markets.
Europe is a priority in our logistics services. In this context, we took an important step with the TGL RO we established in Romania and received intense demand from the region after this step. We plan to increase our investments to meet these demands.
In recent years, our transportation has been focused on Continental Europe, primarily Romania, Poland and Greece. Thanks to our Romanian organization, TGL RO, we have determined the main goal of taking an active role in the transportation of bulk liquid chemical products in Europe. In this regard, we will continue to grow both in existing markets and in new routes by offering the most suitable solutions to the needs of Turkish exporters.

What is the distribution of domestic, import and export transport in your business volume? How do you plan to increase this level?
As TGL, we are proud to cooperate with leading chemical companies in Turkey and Europe. In the past, our domestic transportations were carried out more intensively compared to export transportations. However, the new investments we have made recently have changed this balance by increasing the share of export transportations in our business volume.
Both markets are of strategic importance to us. Therefore, although our primary goal is to diversify our transportations in Europe and increase our effectiveness in this market, we continue to develop our domestic transportations to the same extent. With a balanced growth strategy, we continue to provide our customers with high quality and reliable services in both markets.

NEW INVESTMENTS IN ROMANIA
Are there any new services and investments on your agenda that will provide significant advantages to exporters?
We adopt an approach that is open to innovation and aim to respond to all of our customers’ demands and demands as long as we are on the road. In this context, we aim to provide significant support to our exporters with steps such as establishing new offices in Europe, expanding our fleet, increasing environmental and quality standards, and diversifying our logistics services. As a continuation of our TGL RO investment, we continue our efforts to expand our European fleet by 100 percent. In addition, a warehouse and chemical washing facility investment in Romania is also on our agenda in the short term. With these investments, we aim to make our exporters’ logistics processes more efficient, sustainable, and competitive.

CHEMICAL INDUSTRY SHOULD BE SUPPORTED AND JOINT STEPS SHOULD BE TAKEN
TGL Sales Director and Executive Board Member Hakan Darip stated that it is of great importance to plan the logistics infrastructure correctly and continue the investments without interruption in order for the sustainable development of foreign trade in Turkiye and continued his words as follows: “Especially the chemical sector, as the export locomotive of our country. should be supported and joint steps should be taken in this field. In this direction, LIKITDER, of which our company is a member and which brings together many chemical logistics companies in Turkiye, is positioned as an important platform for the effective management of this process. Although it is a late step, the establishment of the association is a great gain in terms of chemical logistics. We believe that chemical industrialists should also support this association and evaluate the steps to be taken together here. As a matter of fact, some of our valuable companies have started to work in this direction.
Industrialists and logisticians need to come together more frequently, share their goals and projects, and produce common solutions where needed. On the logistics side, we recommend that this cooperation focus on priorities such as preventing unfair competition, supporting the investments of logistics companies, and ensuring continuity in transportation processes.
