Traveled 615,520 km to deliver 10 sets of wind turbines
Yılnak completed the logistics and landing crane operations of 10 E-138 type wind turbines installed in Elazığ. A distance of 615,520 km was covered for the operation in which the 68.5-meter-long turbine blades and 90-ton, 4.90-meter-diameter towers were transported.
Yılnak continues its energy logistics operations unabated. The company has recently successfully completed the logistics and landing crane operations of 10 E-138 type wind turbines installed in Elazığ. Within the scope of the operation, 68.5 meter long turbine blades and towers weighing 90 tons and with a diameter of 4.90 meters were moved from Izmir to Elazığ. Along the 1,476 km route from Izmir to Elazığ, a total of 615,520 km was covered, equivalent to traveling around the world approximately 15 times, to transport all the loads. Due to the size and weight of the loads, special hydraulic wing carriers and special modular beam trailers were used, thus ensuring the safe transportation of these massive equipment. The company’s statement regarding the operation included the following information: “During this challenging journey, our engineering team carefully planned and implemented road modifications. The narrow passages and difficult road conditions on the route were made safe with the meticulous work of our teams. All necessary protocols and road permits were obtained from the Highways Regional Directorates and the process was managed flawlessly. In the field unloading operations, 200-ton and 160-ton mobile cranes were used to successfully deliver all the loads to their destinations. As Yılnak, we are proud to successfully complete this major project with our Engineering and Logistics solutions. We would like to thank all our team members who contributed!”
